What does it take to make a Fur Coat ??

... up to 10 adult dogs are needed to make a fur coat

... up to 24 cats are needed to make a cat fur coat

Please give to those silently crying!

Your dollar will help stop the suffering!

I would not wear your skin! ... Please do not wear mine !

Would you give up your SKIN for a coat ??
Would you trade places with me ??

In Canada cats and dogs are members of our family and life-long companions.

Unknown to most Canadians is the fact that thousands of dogs and cats are being brutally slaughtered and killed for their fur each day and the numbers are increasing at an alarming rate. Many of them are beaten and skinned alive then left to die on a pile of other animals.

** Read the Labels **

Many of the products we purchase here in Canada are made from dog or cat fur.
These products are made in China and then mislabeled or not labeled at all.
Cat and dog fur are used in hats, gloves, coat trim, shoes, blankets and even
stuffed animals and toys that your children are playing with.

* Beware and read the labels. * If it doesn't tell you what it's made of ...
Chances are the FUR is made from a dog or cat !

How can you stop this ?

Read the labels and buy only products manufactured from Countries that .. DO NOT .. support, the barbaric inhumane slaughter of animals .

Do not buy products from China ...
Until they stop the slaughter of helpless animals.

Dog fur can be labeled as any of the following names:
Gae-wolf, sobaki, Asian jackal, goupee, loup d'Asie, Corsac fox, dogues du Chine, fake or exotic fur

Cat fur can be labeled as any of the following names:
house cat, wild cat, katzenfelle, rabbit, goyangi, mountain cat

Many product like toys have no labels at all.
They will tell you what the toy is stuffed with but not what the outside is made from.

... True Story ...

On a recent visit to a hospital gift shop, a cute stuffed toy cat was spotted on a shelf.
The label read from China and stated it was filled with polyester or PE pellets stuffing.
No where on the label did it mention what the fur was made from.

It really makes you think and take a double look.
Would you want your child playing with a stuffed toy made from a dead dog or cat? I wouldn't!
